As many are aware, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has scheduled the Route 141 at Interstate 44 improvement project to start this summer. As outlined on the project website, the problem is as follows: the interchange of I-44 & Route 141 is exceptionally crowded during morning and evening commutes. With several major arterials, including Vance Road, leading to Route 141 near I-44, the roadway remains exceptionally congested.
Most of our Fenton Chamber members and area residents travel this route, some even on a daily basis. With that being said, we have scheduled Karen Yeomans P.E., area MoDOT Engineer for Southwest St. Louis County, to speak at our upcoming Membership Luncheon in May. Karen will share the latest information regarding the Route 141 at I-44 Improvement design-build project and complete reconstruction. All are welcome to attend the luncheon; with this project having an impact on so many, it is important to us to keep our Chamber members and the community up to date with project information, schedules and timelines.
