On July 26th, The Grounds Guys of Fenton celebrated its Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting, accompanied by friends, family and members of the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce. Owners, Rich and Cecelie Williams, met with fellow Chamber members and were eager to spread the word about their newly-purchased franchise. The Grounds Guys is a landscape management company that offers the Fenton community commercial grounds care, residential yard care, snow and ice control, landscape and landscaping design, outdoor lighting, irrigation and fertilization and pesticide services. As franchise owners, Rich and Cecelie are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by providing an outstanding level of service, quality and care. On July 18th, Que Pasa! Mexican Restaurant celebrated its Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting, accompanied by friends, family and members of the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce (see picture below). Owners, Gabriel and Amy Gutierrez, and staff invite you to stop by their location in Fenton, Missouri at 1165 Gavois Road, Suite 100 in New Sugar Creek Plaza. The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce presented 16 local high school seniors with scholarships at the annual Scholarship Luncheon on Wednesday, July 11th at Anheuser Busch Conference Center.
This year’s scholarship recipients included: Danielle Ader from Northwest High School, Katrina Burlison from Rockwood Summit, Sarah Crudden from Rockwood Summit, Matthew Hindrichs from Rockwood Summit, Audra Horn from Cor Jesu Academy, Emily Jones from Ursuline Academy, Brittany Keebler from Lindbergh High School, Alexandra Krus from Nerinx Hall, Sean Mueller from Lutheran South, Joseph Pace from Rockwood Summit, Michelle Quinn from John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, Peter Rankin, Adam Thrower from Rockwood Summit, Meagan Tucker from Rockwood Summit, Jacob Van Tuyl from Rockwood Summit and Ryan Woodland from Lindbergh High School. Brittany Keebler was awarded the 2012 Ginny Goede Scholarship for her dedication to helping others as well as her passion for servicing and giving back to the community. Members of the Fenton Chamber, along with the high school seniors and their families, were in attendance to honor the outstanding achievements of these 16 scholars. This event was sponsored by Sean C. King – Edward Jones. The ceremony was kicked off with a few words from Matthew Helbig, co-founder of Big River Running Company and Rockwood Summit graduate. Sean King with Edward Jones and Ginny Goede with The Jewelry Connection followed with the scholarship presentations. To conclude, Representative Mike Leara and Representative John McCaherty awarded each of the scholars with a declaration of their achievements. |
