The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce presented 13 local high school seniors with scholarships at the annual Scholarship Luncheon on Wednesday, June 7th at Andre’s Banquets & Catering at Sunset Hills Golf Course. Since 1987, the Fenton Chamber has had the privilege of awarding 335 high school graduates with over $275,000 in scholarship funds to further their education. Recent flooding events have put a huge strain on many businesses in Fenton and surrounding communities. The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing assistance to these businesses, many who were also affected by the 2015 flooding, through a “Dress Down to Dry Out” flood relief fundraiser.

The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce presented 12 local high school seniors with scholarships at the annual Scholarship Luncheon on Wednesday, July 6th at Andre’s West Banquet Center in Fenton, Missouri. Since 1987, the Fenton Chamber has had the privilege of awarding 322 high school graduates with over $260,000 in scholarship funds to further their education.
It is “BACK to SCHOOL” time for all business owners and representatives. Beginning in August! The HIVE44 Academy will be in session.
The academy was fostered over the last year as the HIVE44 Coworking Center grew; we saw a need for an academic structure in business development for small business owners. Trends are forever changing in the business world and as business owners and representatives we need to keep up on those changes through education. Not your normal college credits, but targeted information to help you and YOUR business now! The HIVE44 Academy will bring in qualified professionals in their field as instructors for classes, clinics, workshops, boot camps and speaker series, in sales training/coaching, marketing, social media training, business law, accounting and financing, and much more. Many unique programs are now offered at the HIVE44 Academy on monthly bases. Generosity Generation in Action- Accountability Group based on the book 7 Levels of Communication – Go from Relationships to Referrals. This group is a structured referral, sales and accountability group where we learn to implement the strategies of the 7 Levels of Communication. WRITE NOW! – A business writing clinic- Consider this your dedicated day to write! This workshop is held the 3rd Tuesday of the Month 9am-4pm. We begin with a JUMPSTART Session with guest writers to help us get motivated. THINK TANK Session throughout the day to help you brainstorm and critic your writing. Brown Bag it-Lunch and Learn Discussion panels on varies business topics with other professionals are held the 2nd Monday of the Month.
