Mayor's Message
On behalf of the City of Fenton and its residents,
I want to welcome you to our community.
Fenton is proud to provide our residents many no-cost
services, such as trash pick-up and curbside recycling. We provide
professional police services through the St. Louis County Police
Department. Street maintenance, including snow removal, is second
to none. Our staff at City Hall strives to deliver a high level
of service, whether it's issuing a building permit, or simply providing
information about the city.
We are especially proud of our park system. Fenton
has historically been committed to providing recreational opportunities
for its residents. Because of this, Fenton has more parkland per
capita than any other city in the State of Missouri. Our recreation
center, RiverChase, has been cited in several local and national
publications for the unequaled quality of its programs and facilities.
And we do it all without a city property tax.
Fenton also has a large, thriving business community.
Fenton is the corporate home to many businesses, large and small.
We continually strive to create and foster an atmosphere where businesses
can grow and prosper.
We are also the home of one of the St. Louis region's
newest and largest retail developments. Gravois Bluffs, with its
blend of large and small retailers, and its variety of restaurants,
brings shoppers from across the region to Fenton.
I'm very proud to be the Mayor of Fenton. Quality
of life, well-developed parks, unparalleled levels of service to
our residents, and economic development are the cornerstones upon
which we continually build our strong sense of community. We welcome
you, and invite you to become part of our family.
Sincerely,
Mayor Dennis Hancock
