New Driver's Licenses
To get a new driver's license you must provide social
security card, proof of identity (and if under 18 years of age,
original birth certificate.)
Go to a Missouri Highway Patrol License Testing Station
(which is also a MO Department of Revenue office) to take a driver's

New State Residents
To get license plates do the following:

If there is a lien against your vehicle, first
apply for a title transfer at any of the Missouri Department of
Revenue branches or agencies. The closest ones are listed above
under the New Driver's License section.

To get a personal property tax waiver, take your
title or out-of-state registration to a county government center
in the county which you reside.
